Welcome to French 1B, a year-long continuation course of the French program.  My goal is to continue to expose you to the language, culture, art, music, poetry/proverbs and geography of France with a continued emphasis on Paris as well as other regions in France.  You will be working with grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and listening in French during our class time, as well as practice these components as homework, in between our class meetings.

By the end of this school year, my hope is to have you communicating in French about school, shopping, your home, your town, vacations, and French cuisine.  You will also learn how to speak in the past tense!

We will read and memorize a variety of poetry and short prose.  And as always, we will study French art, music, and learn about different landmarks in Paris and France in general.

I am excited to see how my students will build upon what they have learned and feel more confident in their use of the language in this class.

*  All classes will be recorded and a link will be sent out each week for review or in case of absence.
