Beginning Conversation is a great first dive into French. It is a course that can be taken for one or two years with a rotating curriculum that will focus on listening, speaking, light reading, and copywork. We will use nursery rhymes, poetry, songs, art, and pictures to help reinforce basic vocabulary and conversations
The goal of this course is to get students comfortable with greetings, introductions, numbers/colors, days and months, and vocabulary related to shopping, food/meals, weather, hobbies and activities.
Homework will consist of practicing phrases at home and light copywork. Students should be independent readers.
This course will be give students a head start in preparing for the heavier grammar and writing required in French 1A and on.
* All classes will be recorded and a link will be provided each week for review or in case of absence.
